Quit Being Dramatic
I started noticing this annoying squish
my notebook pages
were actively getting narrower
I tried to ignore it
shake off the smog
like the billboards say
I decided to consume a few facts
I figured reading some concrete would help
then everything fell apart
my encyclopedia shook when I realized
that we’ve got no more heroes
nothing good to point our cameras at
it’s not like the big screens all burned down
but the projectors did stop working
and we haven’t been able to
get them running again yet
